SOMETIMES, not all the time, but sometimes, we sit on the sidelines and watch others pass us by. While sitting, we cross our fingers and hope that our “moment” will come. A moment that will be ours. An opportunity that will give us a chance to pass people by.

Okay enough! WAKE UP!
Put away your violin and get OFF the sideline. The only way in 2013 that an opportunity, the RIGHT opportunity will come your way, is by YOU (keyword: you) creating it. Sometimes, finding the right opportunity means you have to create your own blue print. Finding a way to create your own blue print may not happen over night, and it will require you to think and realize your passions and what you are good at.
When you work towards your goal, any goal, you are getting up from the sideline and moving forward. It is funny, but we may start working towards one goal and out of the blue and unbelievable opportunity comes along. You just never know how life will work out, but life does teach us that when we put work in that opportunities open.
Think about it like this: If a person wants to lose weight, unless they get off the couch and actually physically do something to lose weight consistently, will they ever lose weight?
One step you can take is to write out your goals and see where you can start.
