This is what we are told when we enter our school years. We watch and learn from those we think are successful in our mind, and see how they handle their life. We fail to realize that with our eyes we only see the outside images of their success. We do not see the hard work, the criticism, the negativity, and/or the tears that they endured to get to where they are. 

We dream big about success and love. One may be more important than the other for some. No big deal.   “Success” and “Love” is defined differently in each of our minds. While your best friend/sibling may see it one way, you may see it another way the older you get. There isn’t anything wrong with that. You are allowed to change what you want for yourself along the way- my only suggestion is- try to not to change it multiple times within a few weeks.  

What is your big dream? Dreaming big does not stop after you college or your 1st job, or after you decide to get married or not, it continues throughout your life. We imagine our life a little bit better for ourselves and for those that we hold closely to us. 

While it is good to be content with the moment, it is even better to continue to grow as a person in every aspect personally and professionally. Dreaming Big isn’t just for kids, it’s for adults as well, who would like to make this world just a tad bit better for the future, when they leave.  What’s your big dream?

Barbara Walters retirement after 37 years in TV journalism. I want to remain positive and believe thatjournalism will continue to have credibility long after a legend like Barbara leaves. She made her announcement today on her show The View. Barbara has made it clear she is now going to be a fulltime observer of the media and not be an active participant anymore.

You ever come across someone that just talks too much? I don’t mean just talking to keep the conversation going, I am specifically talking about those that talk too much about other individuals in a negative light. We are all someone guilty of it.

While we have this need to be liked and well informed about our surroundings and we want others to know this as well, watch your words when you speak about someone.  Tearing someone down because they do or say something that you do not understand, only tears you down as well. You may not feel it in the moment but overtime this “art of talking too much” becomes of a habit and pretty soon you will find yourself wondering people talking like this about you.

What would happen if we attempted to lift every person we spoke about in a positive way? What kind of difference do you think this would make?
